i already know they will bolt on and the gen1 block has better head bolt setup.
what i need is details.
so....iam changing the valves to back cut undercut 38mm. pocket porting and 250 grit flapper. because the gen2 already has larger valves i wont need new seats.
does anyone know if larger...
front end springs can only help, they cant do the job by themselves, and in face a well setup rear only gets SOME help from a compliant front. some. like the last little bit. you can hit 1.4x-1.5x in these cars with stock fronts and struts.
using the lower hole can be right if you WANT rear axle seperation. usually just raising the instant center like that doesnt solve traction issues. as others have said it can pound your tires hard and actually hop them.
if you select the lower hole you need compliant tires. you need stiff rear...
ok, so the hole you use is a function of the wntire suspension setup.
using the bottom hols is not necessarily wrong if you also relocate the upperand move the instant center rearward. the point where the mounting holes and their imaginary line meet is your instant center. where that point sits...
BTW OP carbd, im tracking the car for the first time this spring. i have DD tires that hook. IMO your 60' should be 1.3-1.4 with that power. you are losing 10's in the first 60'. i would put bias plys on it and set the rear LCAs to raise your instant center as high as you can. mine are in the...
a coyote can just plain make power with the correct mods. the right mods are critical. i make more power than all of the coyotes in my area on bryant brothers dyno. the 410 rwtq is as much ad 55 ft-lbs more than other CJ cars here
if you get a 2011-2012, get a light weight. the 300a cars are light. mine weighed 3480 stock off the showroom. get a base model, and the brembos add weight. a lot of weight. my car weighs less than 3400 now with just basic mods, and not really any purpose weight reduction. the car needs 3.90s. i...
i need specs and pricing on just the rotataing assembly. i have an idea to stroke the stock parts, but i want to see if it's worth it to use yours and save myself time and effort.
thanks -bill
well i have 105,000 miles on mine, and it's been launch hundreds and hundreds of times. been off the limiter thousands of times. powershift and driven like i stole it from day one. hell i hit the limter nearly every time i drive it. 7800-8000. its hard no to with it revving so quickly. i got...
the template does not have startup tables. that is the subject of this thread. i need a software suggestion that is cheap and simple to access startup tables and cranking PW.
im using commando to set parameters for my terbo. i am satisfied with the toon all the way to 18 psi with 110octane and 20 degrees timing. it runs exacty like i want it to. HOWEVER....
idle, part throttle, and wot tuning a car is fine and dandy....but if the sum-B wont hot start who freaking...
Shaun tuned me. There are millions dyno results and torque losses from a twin versus mono.
Torque. The HP difference is a little, but the torque using a twin is no better than a boss manifold. And it is a 30 lb-ft difference. I don't care either way. I have a monoblade and 410 rwtq. The CJ cars...
A ported boss matches the POWER AND torque of a untouched cobra jet manifold with a twin 65mm throttle body. It's a fact.
Also, when I port my CJ, add a CJ electric water pump, and l&m intake cams i WILL make 500 rwhp and a bit more torque than the 410 I make now.
It is critical to use the monoblade with the CJ. If I simply changed to a twin 65 from my monoblade my torque would drop from 410rwtq to 379. The torque of a CJ manifold is no better than a boss manifold without the scj monoblade. The oval throttle body is the principal advantage of the CJ. I...
I planning to run 8's when the drivetrain is up to handling my motor. I am certainly looking forward to running one then. Even at my power level now, and light weight, a demon would murder my car.
A transbrake and car ready to use that power makes the demon a killer 330 car imo.
