Finished up most of the install...seems as though my drill went AWOL so i have to go out and grab one to finish up the install, but you get the jist of what it looks like from these pic's. I must admit..the powdercoating really makes these boxes look 100% better.

Cylinders 1,2,7,8. All the rod bearing's were toast just as i suspected...the crank journal on # 7 is FUBAR......all the pistons and rods looked perfect..some scuffing on the teflon on the pistons but nothing to warrant a hurt motor at all.

Guys were nice as hell, walked me through all the options and goodies available...SB is good for 900hp which i will more than likely never see unless a turbo gets bolted on but it's great for piece of mind. Got the ARP mainstuds and head bolt option for added security...anyone ever deal with...

This is pure insanity...this is the crap i end up doing while the cars down..anyhow,i think it came out good...dont mind the dirtyness of the car,she doesnt get a bath til shes running again....rules are rules :-). I painted over the COBRA lettering then sanded it down once it dried...
Literally took me 3 hours to do this crap and it still needs some minor touch up on some of the fins...took my time taped everything.I sanded down the blower fins before i painted it.Sanded with a sanding block and then smoothed it out with a 600 grit for the polished fin look, then taped it...

Got my KB combo tuned by XX-tuning in east hartford...needless to say the tune is badass and makes the power its supposed to even in 95+* weather..it was 101* outside at 2pm. Give these guys a call if you need a tune..especially for Cobra's, Chris is making a big impact on these cars tuning...
For what it's worth and for comparisons i took as many pics as i could think of to show how fuggin hot it was up here today.... to sayi am pleased is an understatement...Big thanks go out to Chris at XX tuning here in CT(Big goofy guy in first pic)...he did a wonderful job and the car runs mint...
A certain Black 04 Cobra that is no longer with us (think Myrtle beach) will be reborn again...made the trip lastnight to pick up this fine piece of machinery...thanks again bud. Unfortunately i can't name names to keep his good name form being tarnished...still cant believe such a crappy thing...
