I like the lightning and would love to have one, but the price is ridiculous. They are around $20k more than an equivalent gas powered F150. Some people just don't understand that $20k buys a lot of gas.
The mileage is the next issue. It can't even supply enough range for a days worth of...
I've owned both and I'd go with the Ram. Some things I didn't like about the Ram were fuel mileage, leaking back window, and depreciation. Things I liked better were the ride, better interior, and 8 speed trans.
I traded it for a Raptor and first thing I noticed was the 10 speed is terrible...
I like it, but a locked ECU makes it a hard no for me. Already own a 21 F150 and just refuse to purchase another vehicle that I can’t modify without the manufacturer’s permission.
Return fuel systems are like any other mod. It can be just as reliable as the factory setup or it can be a nightmare. All the things you mentioned are problems with return fuel systems, but they can all be addressed as well.

Just had this same issue on my turbo coyote. Turned out to be my metal aftermarket expansion tank. I put a OEM expansion tank and cap back on the car and my problems are gone.
With the info you've given, the wideband reading on livelink is showing 5-6% swings WOT and that's only as fast as the wideband can translate the info, it's possible it's more than that. I also see you reach 96% max injector duty cycle. The reason you don't go over a certain injector duty...
Doesn’t sound like a terrible deal to me. If it still had the IRS I even like the $13k price. Good luck finding the replacement body parts for though. Not saying you can’t but some of those parts don’t just show up for sale regularly.
Depends on how nice you really want it and who you get to do it. For a good quality job I'd charge around $12k-$15k depending on how much repair is needed. At this price the car would be stripped down and the glass removed. Jambs would be sprayed with the car so there would be no tape lines...
This is great news, unfortunately I lost interest in the track a long time ago when I was running low 11's and track officials were constantly telling me to slow down or leave. I used to go once or twice a month, now I might go once or twice a year.
I wouldn't get a Raptor if ride quality is your top priority. I'm sure the gen 3 rides better than the gen 2, but it's best suited for offroad. My 2020 Raptor was livable as a DD, but just felt sloppy and got worse as it got more miles on it. Tire chop after only 5000 miles is proof they...
I have seven 5 gallon VP racing gas tanks that I drive 2 hrs to fill. My car only get 1k-2k miles a year so it works for me. I do have methanol injection as well for those 93 fill ups.
I had a 20 Raptor and it was a fun truck to own. Can get expensive to own like any other "toy" vehicle. The ride is ok when new, but as the miles added on I didn't really care for it. Started to feel like the shocks couldn't control the vehicle as well and the tire wear was bad in the front...
I’ve purchased numerous thing from them. I’ve gotten exactly what they had pictured every time.
Beware of the fake sites that try and imitate them and even use their pictures.
Great time, will surprise almost anybody. Is that 9s sec pass on the same 14psi or did you turn it up more? Just curious because you trap speed went from 132 to 134 to 138.
That’s a great time! Really amazing considering that it’s 93 octane and a Whipple tune that Ford had to basically ok.
Im curious how you plan to go faster without ECU access? E85 and pulley is the easiest way to get a lot more power out of it, but there has to be ECU access.
So for only 500 rwhp why not do piston and rods in the 2V and just supercharge or turbo it? The 4V swap with FI isn't really worth the effort at less than 500 rwhp.
I would only do the coyote swap if your dead set on a N/A setup, but if your doing an engine swap to build a N/A car I can...
