It's a general area in western KY with two large lakes and many surrounding towns. Lake Barkley and Kentucky Lake make up the Land Between the Lakes area. Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area · 238 Visitor Center Dr, Golden Pond, KY 42211

Look into Land Between the Lakes (LBL). It's just outside of Paducah so you'd be close to them, and you'd be surrounded by fishing!

What are your interests and expectations? In the city, a property with acreage, living closer to a city (Paducah is the biggest city in far western KY)? If you are closer to the Bowling Green area, Nashville is only a hour or so away.

I'd look at the hybrid version as a replacement to my 2010 Fusion when the time comes. I think it would make a nice little commuting vehicle that's economical to own and drive. I've got a Superduty for towing duty.

I've been pleased with my Toro Z-Master 3000 with a 60" deck. It has 580 hours on it, and hasn't had any issues. I maintain our 16 acres (much of it's woods), and a few side yards.
