Appreciate all the feedback. USAA is going to try to move forward with repairing it. USAA did a virtual appraisal and estimated $2500, but I’m thinking closer to double that once the shop gives their estimate.

Driving down a 4 lane road in town last night and a deer ran into my fender and pretty much bounced down the side of the car. Car has just over 69k miles on it, waiting to hear from my adjuster but I’m assuming they are going to total it. What do you guys think? If anyone has had theirs...

Thanks for sending those pics, I measured my strip and it’s the exact same. I don’t see why my headliner would suddenly be sagging though. It must be that the tint on my old windshield was dark enough to keep me from noticing.

Can you see that yellow foam edge on yours?

Recently I had my windshield replaced, since then I can now see the edge of the headliner from outside the car. My previous windshield was tinted so it may have been like that before, but I feel like I still would have noticed it. It seems like a piece of trim or something is missing. Any thoughts?

I’ll pull it apart this weekend and see. It did seem like I felt resistance when the engine was running, but not when it was off. Not sure if that makes a difference. It’s been doing it for a few months now, but it seems like it’s becoming more frequent. I only drive it 1-2 times a week.

I have several rock chips I want to try and fix. I just ordered some Motorcraft touch up paint from LMR and I’m going to try it out on one to see how it comes out. Anyone have any experience using these pens? How did it turn out? Before and after pics would be awesome!
