From my understanding you don't need to do them until 600wph. If your under that then you should be fine.
It all depends on your wheel fitment. if its proper then I believe you can go up to 325 or 335.
upgrade them to whatever you wish, use a rely to turn off the airbag light, and hope you never need the side airbag is what I've seen done the most.
