Do it. even better since the motor is out. The sound alone is worth it too me. I'm a fan of the American racing headers, they tuck up nicely and allow room for the trans to come down.

I found one about a year ago with 120k miles with a bad transmission that had been sitting for years. Couple accidents on the car fax and a undocumented built motor. It did have some goodies. Whipple/fuel system/MM kmember/ RXT I paid 19k for it.
