It turned out really good, the power's amazing. I had a few issues because of rushing into and through 2-step, and trans-brake bs, but this was 100% on me.
You would more than likely still be waiting for the CPR deal, lol. Whipples are super nice, and any pd blower's going to be pretty simple and effective. The grass isn't always greener, lol. If I had a choice between a nice Whipple and a CPR kit I'd probably choose the CPR kit, and that is (if) I...
Sorry, I just don't get on here that much any more. I basically had all winter long and was in no hurry whatsoever, but it was a long process for sure. I actually had time to remove my motor, and have the bottom end built with forged stuff, and can say that putting on the manifolds, merge-pipe...
I ordered it in the fall of 2018, and received the kit less than a weak later. I had a few exhaust tweaks I had to make. I had to cut, and re-weld in 2 places to get the piping aimed correctly and put a clearance dent in the pipe after the down-pipe to miss a suspension component. If you want...
Not here at work, It has went 6.7@108 in the eighth in 9000' DA. Previously with a 5C converter and Paxton the best I ever did was a 7.2@97MPH at the same track. I'm pretty certain it can go a mid 6, as I've had some serious issues getting the car to shift before hitting the rev limiter on the...
I think you'd surprise yourself on how easy it will be, especially a pd blower of whichever brand you choose. Just allow yourself some time. If you were to add oil pump gears, I'd suggest the help of a pretty handy friend.
I'd go with the VMP's new 2650 at whichever level kit you want (talk to them and tell them what you're after). It'll be spun slower at the same boost level of a smaller 2300 blower and should equate to lower iat's, which is better for everything. I'd prefer VMP over Roush just from a tuning...
A friend of mine made over 800whp @15-16psi on C16 in his 76/75bmf powered fox through a 6R80. I'd guess that could've been higher 800's on E85. So I can believe 4 digit rwhp from this kit. How long has this On3 single been out for Coyote S197's?
Damn strong for single digit boost. makes me wish I would've held off on the fancy electronic boost controller for the moment and tried the 11psi spring first, hahaha!
For anyone doing an install on this kit, don't waste your time with the sandwich oil filter adapter to get oil to your turbo, mine certainly leaked, and have read of several others as well. I simply purchased a small 1/4" female NPT "T", short 1/4" npt nipple, and a 1/4" X 1/8" npt bushing to...
Fired mine up yesterday! Unbelievably quiet! Haven't driven it, just a few little revs to 4K, now I'm getting anxious, but there's a boat-load of snow on my street so it'll be a while before doing any tuning / logging. Love how quiet this is with the full exhaust set-up, probably a dream on the...
