    6 piston front caliper upgrade

Ok thank you, that is out of my price range and it is not a direct bolt on without adapter, I think Wilwoods are but not sure, going to give them a call on Monday. There is also a brand with Speedmaster logo but I think it is a Wilwood caliper..

    6 piston front caliper upgrade

I did find the Wilwoods separate calipers but its unclear if they are a direct bolt on, and not clear if you have to use Wilwood pads only. For Baer 6p is a model but could not find any separate calipers with part# for mustang.

    6 piston front caliper upgrade

Ok so ive gone thru many posts here and other sites and there seems to be no real answers. I ask what 6 piston upgrade front calipers without buying the complete kit are available. I have seen some Brembo and otheres with kits but not just the calipers. I have seen ford focus rs and Cadillac...

Old fuel draining by jumping the fuel pymp

Hope it works for you, if your existing sending unit is good and new pump screw holes line up and wire (plug)connections match, you should be ok. For me when needed replacement going with just the pump didnt work out so well and ended up going with complete unit (bosch) with the hat. hopefully...

part of the filter i think. You need the whole fuel pump assembly and not just the pump,

Old fuel draining by jumping the fuel pymp

If you havent dropped it yet, you might find out how difficult it is to get tank away from the filler tube, although it is possible to change out pump without completely removing the tank. The other thing is its sometimes very difficult to remove the fuel line from the tank nipple. There are...

Old fuel draining by jumping the fuel pymp

Dropping the tank with more than a couple gallons can be tough, I found out the hard way. You cant normally siphon out with a hose but when I needed to drop my tank a second time to replace fuel pump, I used a 1/8 hard plastic line like the ones for an oil pressure gauge. I was able to get it...

    GEM solution!?

Just for my and others future knowledge, how did you know it was the factory stereo doing the draw?---I thought I had a draw for about 1 1/2 years, even though the battery checked out with no problems it turned out to be the battery. Also if it was the factory stereo, could the problem have...

Stock 4v shortblock limits in 2023?

Interesting what years were they and are they a match to our crank and pistons (plug and play sort of speak)

Stock 4v shortblock limits in 2023?

So what is the weak link in a 2001 cobra?, the rods?, we have forged cranks right? If its rods can they be shot peened and polished like old school?

follow up to issues with repeated failed throw out bearings and questionable dealership?...

My TOB was making much noise with only 5k on my original miles cobra. When I converted to a T56 at 10k I went with a quadrant, firewall adjuster and a Timken Bearing, I adjusted pedal to (old school) approx. 3/4" free play, although with a cable its hard to tell how much is free play. Anyways...

    Best aftermarket IACV

Mine didnt do it till I installed a restrictor plate, It seems to hang only after Ive been going on a steady up hill climb. Overall I liked the way the restrictor plate calmed the idle down but not after coming to a stop at the end of an up hill climb. The idle comes back to normal after about...

Help with Fair Pricing: '01 engine & T56

Not saying it isnt but even if has been sitting that does not lool like a new crate engine, I guess you installed all those used accessories? That transmission has been opened up, an unused T56 doesnt have silicone squeezing out of the case? I hope you get something for it but with dented pan...

What brake pads have good initial grab/bite and consistent stopping power but also run clean?

Well after much search comparing reviews and ratings on multiple sites it came down to-- EBC Yellow stuff--Hawk HPS or their newer HPS 5.0-- Carbotech AX6s. I ordered the 5.0s, based on all ratings and reviews they seem to have the closest to the best of both worlds with great bite but...

What brake pads have good initial grab/bite and consistent stopping power but also run clean?

Well Carbotech has options but I wouldnt know which one to go with and they all say not for street use? So far all that keeps coming up is Hawk and they have a newer HPS 5.0 that is replacing the HPS that had been a long time favorite for high performance street and some track.

What brake pads have good initial grab/bite and consistent stopping power but also run clean?

I know brake pad post have been worn out in the past but wondering if anything new. Im currently running Power Stop extreme carbon fiber/ceramic pads with Power Stop Cryo rotors, they have worked pretty well for me and run very clean, but I have never been happy with the initial grab/bite no...

    2000 Cobra R water pump

Many recommend a 2003 navigator pump? here is the motorcraft # for 2003 navigator. More Information for MOTORCRAFT PW423 but I think you need a long snout adapter for it. The Motorcraft that has the long snout is pw425 and is hard to find but here is one at LMR--only one left...

    Spark plug thread repair

I cant guarantee it but the steel inserts should be good--the spark plugs are steel!! Most of the reason the plugs pop out is not because of few threads but because the original factory torque specs of 14lb was not enough and is why they would back out to last couple threads and then blow out...

    Recommended TR-3650 fluid?

Before I converted to a T56, I tried them all including Mobile 1, Amsoil and then the so called secret sauce mix. The truth is the 3650 is a lousy shiftter even when new or low miles. The best that worked for me was the Penzoil syncromesh (same as GM) or Red Line Atf but like all the others they...

    rebuild front calipers?

Ive used Speed Bleeder's for years on three different vehicles including the clutch slave cylinder on a Triumph Tr6 and Bmw with great results, for me they are easy one man operation and better than the vacuum pumps. Got them on my Mustang. here they are for the front here are the...

    4.6 Rebuild or Coyote Swap?

Unless you absolutely feel the need to keep the car for sentimental reasons, I would sell it and find a low mileage 03/04 cobra, cheaper and easier than what your plans are for the 99.-- 03 04 have 400+hp and a t56 transmission. There is a good chance that when your grandkids get old enough...
