Thanks. Yes I joined in early 2000 right when I bought my first SVT vehicle. It was a 2000 Red Ford Lightning F150 (hence the name). LOL.
Most sites my name is either 98saleen or TTSaleen.
I don't post much about my other cars, but I thought some of you might like this video of my 1968 Charger.
I put the Charger on the dyno yesterday.
Was pleasantly surprised when it made 335hp and 390tq at the wheels.
The stock camshaft is all done by 5,200 rpms so that might be a change I...
Yeah I've not been on the track with this car in 3 years since I broke the 6R80 on my last (and fastest pass to date) when it went a 5.80 in 1/8th.
That pass is in my opening intro when I race my buddy in the Sonic Blue Cobra.
I'm hoping for mid-5's in the 1/8th at full weight (it's 3,800 right...
It made 954hp and 832tq on the pull where it actually didn't have any issues.
The problem is when I tried to add more boost, at first I had spark blowout so I tightened up the gap and fixed that.
But on next pull the inlet pipe to my throttle body pulled apart and dumped boost still making...
Got the TTSaleen on they dyno since I've made a bunch of changes in the last 2 years.
Rebuilt engine, new injectors and fuel system, new Holley Terminator X computer system, E85 conversion, and Turbo 400 transmission.
My wife hasn't rode in my car in a while.
I've recently put the TH400 in it and it's pretty fast on the street.
She was "reacquainted" with the car very quickly. LOL.
Combo - 5.4 4-valve head modular with twin 67mm turbos.
Quick update on my 2016 F150.
I decided on the Banks Pedal Monster adapter to test out and see if it made a noticeable difference in my trucks "seat of the pants" acceleration and throttle response.
After seeing Banks video on why their product is better than other designs, I was convinced...
It made a noticeable difference in takeoff and shifting.
I have been told that the trucks are different from the cars in how they respond to the drive by wire feeling of acceleration.
Have you reset your throttle pedal / throttle position lately?
- Turn key to ON (push button once) but don't...
Yes. You'll need a deeeeep socket to tighten it up fully or gear wrench but otherwise it will work fine. Ride quality is the very same, just slightly lower which makes it look level (the look I was wanting).
I have a video about it on my Youtube page.
I've seen these go anywhere from $25k to $38K depending on miles.
I got a great deal on mine as I bought it from a family member for under $25K.
She bought it brand new in 2016. It has 24k miles, the Equipment Group 701A Luxury (Technology Package, Lane-Keeping System, 360 camera w/split-view...
Appreciate that. I've been acquiring them over the years.
It's a 2008 G8 GT with CTS-V wheels on it (from the Sedan model).
Got a bunch of stuff done to it thru Rick Crawford and to date it has run 11.0 @ 123mph in the 1/4 all mota.
Nope. Had a bunch of issues with the 6R80 in my TTSaleen...
