to answer your question, i have had ZERO problems wit the paint on my hood (from removing the hood blanket)...and just an FYI i live in oklahoma city, and we do hit triple digit temps in the summer.

few yrs ago you posted something about removing the hood blanket on your cobra, how's the paint since then? i live in Jersey so it's not THAT hot here.
