  • Hi Tvspower,

I see you have the bps cams. I am thinking of doing these in my 2011 gt500 with a 2.3 tvs and full bolt ons/exhaust,etc. Currently at 667/600 to the wheels.

Can you comment on 6th gear cruising on the highway at 80mph at 1800rpm?

Also low speed parking lit driveability?

Thanks a lot. Do you have any vids?

    Neil
Thxs Booky Your setup is a 10.... I got a quote from the body shop that I can expect around $1000 to prep/paint/stripes and install... I have an 08 vapour/back stripes...I researched cervini and they charge around $350 to paint for me...... I wonder if cervini paints the hood ..how much prep would be involved?? Joe at body shop says let his shop paint the hood to eliminate double cost if cervini screw up...or shipping marked it......Whats your thought????
    Hey Bruce,
I took the hood to a Body Shop that I was referred to. They did a very nice job painting the hood and installing it, but it cost more then I anticipated. The final bill for pre-fit, prep, paint and installation came to about $1300. The stripes are another $200. So all together, the total cost of new Cowl hood ran me about $2100.
