Air Force testimony today that the FMC rate of the F-35 is 29%. It has been around 30% for over a year. It is a great airplane, but the maintainers can't maintain it. You wonder what the marine corps F-35 FMC rate is, they have a hell of a lot harder time attracting people than the AF and their operating environment is a lot tougher. The Navy better figure out how to keep the Super Hornet line going.

My nephew is a SGT in the Marines. Stationed at MCAS Cherry Point as a avionic tech on F-35s. He reenlisted about 18 months ago. They gave him a $90K signing bonus. Handing a 22 year old a check for $90k is a dangerous thing. lol.

My other nephew is a Major in the Air Force. This kid has banked every check, lived within his BAH, and invested a ton in the last 10 years. He has travelled the world on Uncle Sam's dime and has gotten more poon than most. Thinking of it, he should be on this board. He'd fit right in as an SVTP baller.
