Unfortunately, until you know the engine issue, the value is really unknown, a very nice cobra with no other issues other than a bad engine might be worth 20k maybe….

I’m sorry to hear about your headache. I would like to provide some unsolicited advice from someone who has been around the block so to speak many times with Mustangs. Most of the issues you mention are minor- coil covers, rear coil overs, etc. All this things can be easily fixed by a shop or you could likely do the work yourself, if you’re somewhat handy. R&Ring your engine over an undiagnosed vibration seems somewhat odd. If you really trust the competence of your shop / mechanic, go for it. Otherwise I’d put the brakes on that, and get the car to someone you trust.

I lived in DFW, which isn’t too far from you. Travis at Gearheads in Arlington would probably be my first choice, or Clint at True Street up in McKinney would be good. I’d put the car on a trailer and get it to one of these guys.

Once you know what is wrong with the car, then you can better know what direction to take as far as selling it goes. If I were a potential buyer of the car as it currently is, I would assume it needs a new engine. I feel there is a very good chance you could do a lot better getting it sorted out before you sell. Maybe you’d want just hold onto it and enjoy it.
