if you drove that for work you'd need a cdl but instead they let any ****ing moron drive them
RV's always just disintegrate when they're in a wreck.
really are expensive pieces of shit. A friend sells them and he's always telling me he has no idea why the finance places cover them for 5+ year loans, they aren't gonna be worth shit if/when they default on them
****ing idiot, how can you not tell that thing is terrified. Have fun with your rabies shots

*people might die*

Crowd erupts in a joyous yell running toward the chaos in squeals of delight hoping to catch a glimpse of the carnage with their recording device.

In my opinion, this has literally replaced lining up down both sides of a road while cars drag race. Absolutely no protection to your brain and vital organs besides your rib cage and skull from the crushing power a 3,000-5,000 pound vehicle possibly out of control.

ive read plenty of stories of people getting run over lined up watching street racings. This is even worse imho since you know these idiots are sliding around like that

Me too.

We had the president of our engineering company retire. To that point, his driving experience included commuting to work in his Prius. Yes, mega-nerd.

Him and his wife bought a dually and a giant fifth wheel camper to go camping around the country for retirement.

All of us paused and asked "Steve, do you know how to drive this??". Uhhh... The dealer gave him some pointers.

Not two months after owning it he jackknifed it. We lost touch shortly after that.

Having shopped for RVs myself, and with the above story, I am simply amazed at how some RV places will absolutely minimize the skill required to pilot a rig like this.

Same goes for any kind of trailer. You see some real idiots out there with big ol' trailers behind their Honda Pilot.

T'was a learning curve for me when I bought my camper for sure.
I had pulled boats and small utility trailers for a long time, but hooking up to something larger than the truck was scary AF to be honest.
I found an old abandon Foodlion parking lot and spent probably close to 2 hours practicing by myself before I ever took the wife and kid camping.
6ish camping trips later and the breaks failed on my truck while pulling with my mother, wife and 3 year old in the truck.
Top 5 scariest things I've ever had to encounter for sure. Didn't go camping again until I had a new truck in the driveway. LOL
