Bama beats UGA in the SEC title game. Would this mean that the SEC gets left out of the playoff? That would be glorious and I'd have to track down FoeHammer wherever the hell he is. LOL Texas would be in at the 4 seed because they beat Bama head to head.

I've had this conversation a few times. Something tells me the committee wouldn't have the balls to leave Bama out, even though they should.

What about this scenario, assuming the CFP playoff poll follows the AP and Coaches poll:

Georgia
Michigan
Washington
FSU
Oregon
OSU
Texas
Bama

Georgia, Michigan and Washington all handle business. FSU loses to Louisville and Texas loses to Ok State. Who gets that number 4 spot....

In your proposed scenario, Oregon, Texas and Bama would all have 2 losses. That means it would be between FSU and OSU, and OSU would get it. Texas isn't losing to OKST though...
