Bought a set of stock GT springs to put on the front

I assumed it had aftermarket springs up front because the rears were...but they look like stockers with a coil or two chopped off

Had some torn sway bar endlink bushings as well.

Forgot how much of a pain in the dick stock front springs can be to get back in!

I'll finish this up tomorrow or Saturday.

Are the GT springs not a different spring rate compared to the 03/04 Cobra springs? The stock 03/04 springs are linear and are fine to cut.

GT are 50-100lb less depending on what Google results you look at

Actually trying to get an inch or so back in height on the front as well have a little softer spring

I might cut a half a coil off, they are way taller as it is

Why don’t you try the MM poly isolators to give you some height with the chopped springs?

Wouldn't have quite been enough

Basically did a half coil and brought the front end up exactly one inch

See how it rides tomorrow

I'm not scraping the ground anymore with my front splitter. Don't notice a huge difference in front end softness though.

I can really feel the Energy Suspension poly front sway bar endlinks though. Really tightened up the front end feel.

Put it on on FB marketplace the other day, if it sells I think I'll keep my eyes open for a turbo SN95 coupe

Fixed an annoying leak I had. I noticed about two months ago that I was leaving a couple drops on the floor of the garage.

I could see from under the engine that the coolant elbow coming out of the passenger side head/block, which goes into the heater core, had a slight leak.

It wasn't bad so I wasn't worried about it, plus it is a pain in the ass getting back there. I was curious as to if there was a hole or tear in the hose or crack in the pipe.

Tonight I went out to take a look at it, and some idiot used a hose clamp that was too big, and it was noticeable that the clamp wasn't tightened all the way. It didn't have enough threads or whatever they are, so you couldn't tighten any further, either.

Sorry to see you’ve got her for sale man. You’ve come a long way for sure. I hope you can find that turbo SN95 Coupe. Just be careful buying someone else’s idea of a race car.

I had a decent scrape on the rear bumper on the passenger side...decided to try out this Meguiars scratch remover kit that was on sale at Autozone a couple weeks ago for like $13

Worked pretty good, almost want to buff the whole car out now. Didn't get it out 100% but I might try it again another day. Theres a couple other smaller nicks and scratches I'll do as well.

How clean is that for a 21 year old car? Wish the whole was was that mint!
