Newer GT500 to the collection would be awesome and a great choice. I think that is a real good quality to have and a humble approach/outlook on life. I will definitely keep you i my prayers my friend and hope you have a speedy recovery!
After seeing @Tezz500 GT500 in person, and hearing him let her eat when we got on the highway it was amazing. I knew then I’d get one. Hopefully by then I’ll be healed up, and making good money in my career again! Since I don’t have a recent photo, I’ll post a throwback to when I was cruising around after I got my Corsa Xtreme’s on :)

Thanks for the kind wishes vinnie!

They're impressive cars, but not for me. The S550 chassis never grew on me and absence of a third pedal is a complete non-starter. (Please don't waste time telling me how much faster the DCT is - I simply don't care.)

They’re indeed impressive. I don’t much care for the DCT transmission, I’m sure it’s nice, as much as I wish it was a manual GT500 I’d rather take an automatic GT500, than a possible time bomb with the GT350. I was dead set on a GT350, and it appeared it kept changing years wise due to the issues with the motor. I’ve seen quite a few threads on them, and I’ll admit it kinda scared me out of them. I’m pro manual, my collection of mustangs speak for themselves. If I could have my hellcat charger in manual I’d do it just because. However during times like this when I’m not able to drive manual due to my accident. An automatic sure would come in handy. I’ve been there for the debate against the 13/14 GT500 versus the 20/22 GT500’s. I wasn’t always the biggest fan of them myself. However like I said I enjoyed seeing them in person more than photos. If it came down to it, I’d choose my 2013 20th anniversary over a newer GT500.

Already talking about winter  Im not ready to give in yet! Nevertheless Beautiful car!
Unfortunately my time this summer with her has been very limited. Havent really had the time to enjoy or really even drive the car. Im building a new 24x24 garage w/a lift early spring 2024 so she will be heading to a private climate controlled location in october and stored away for the next 8 months. Just trying to get this done while I have the time. Hoping to get her out this labor day weekend for one last ride before she gets stored away for the winter. Thank you for your generous comment. Its a real pleasure to be a member here and be apart of a community with some of the most beautiful, rare optioned collectible S197 Shelby GT500'S in the country that the members here have on SVTP. Best Ford Forum for car guys hands down!!

It was nice boost weather this morning.
Unfortunately I wasn’t in my ‘14, but she’s finally running.
