That’s basically the closest we will ever get to that v10 4v aluminum prototype they put in the mustang test car.

I remember the Cobra Roadster Concept they had. All Aluminum V10. Then it sat forever, the car was purchased by one of the original engineers. But at Ford, they were thinking of bricking the motor by filling it with some Crete or something. But they did not. Just pinned the trans-axel.

I saw todd post about a set of custom 4v v10 cams on his facebook page and was curious what they were for. Very cool project. I would think 600+ hp would be achievable if they go all out.

Basically they're using a production V10 block from a F350 and splicing together several sets of 4.6L 4 valve heads to make it work. Pretty amazing work so far for a couple guys in their garage. Here's a link to their channel, they've posted about 5 episodes so far.

I gotta give these guys credit just for attempting this. This is no easy Task! excited to see the results!!

Their rpm goal is unrealistic but it should run good if it stays together. The cooling is what is interesting me the most. Not sure how well it will work but I hope it turns out well for them.

They’ve literally cut heads and welded them together. None of this is “realistic.”

I give them lots of respect tackling this project. It’s a truly massive endeavor.
