Those look great you have a lot of patience
Thank you Mr. Bill. It was a little difficult when I first started. However, as time went by I found some cool items (i.e. Cobra decals and Ford Emblems) and learned a few tricks along the way. So, it became a really cool hobby.

It was fun, a stress relief and earned me some extra cash on the side. I want to start doing it again, but have to workout a few details. Mainly where am I going to paint now since my garage is no longer available .

Okay Everyone,

I'm Back!!!! LOL, Not really.........

As some of you know I'm going to be featured on the YouTube channel "AutotopiaLA" and I wanted to present the owner (Shawn Davis) with one of my creations. Since Autotopia's colors are black and orange I took a CO Terminator and created some decals and made something for Shawn.

Man, does this feel familiar. Just like riding a bike though........

Here it is with the decals. I also painted the rear "COBRA" letters on the back bumper flat black.

The idea was to take Shawn's business logos and create something unique. Also, to create something I know he will not have and something he will be proud to display in his office. Hopefully it will also be a conversational piece.

I did not put my name on this one, but if he ever forgets my name he can just watch the introduction piece of my video that he will be making when he features my 65 LOL.

What do you guys think? Think he will like it???

It’s great to see you doing another die cast. This one looks very professional, as is the case with all you have done. Great work. I think there’s a waiting line of us anxiously anticipating your return to taking orders lol

Thank you Todd! Greatly appreciated brother. Yeah, I realize people are waiting for this to start back up. I have to find a place to paint now. Can't risk getting overspray on the 65 or T-Bird.

So, once I figure that out I should start back up again. I appreciate everyone's patience and understanding.

Whoa! Will Shawn like it? Are you kidding? He is going to freaking LOVE it! That is a stunning custom diecast. I'm blown away. He is going to be pleasantly surprised and shocked when you present it to him. Might be nice to do some sort of fancy packaging for the presentation. Would be cool to see it unveiled during the filming of the episode.

WOW, Thank you Bob!!! VERY kind of you to say sir.

I have been thinking about that Bob. Do I present it to him while we are shooting? Not sure how his reaction would be and, when it comes to the viewers, where is the line between handing him a thank you gift and looking like a kiss ass? LOL. I have no reason to brown nose as I'm already being featured, but you know how some people are and I can only imagine some of the YouTube comments if I give it to him in the video.

Then again others will realize it's nothing more than a thank you gesture for featuring me on his channel. So, I don't know if on camera or off would be better. Then again Shawn will make that determination because even if I hand it to him on camera he may have his staff edit that out LMAO!!!

So, who knows. I'll probably hand it to him on camera and let him decide if he wants to keep it in the video or have it laying on the editing room floor, so to speak LOL.

What do some of you other folks think? On or off camera?????

I'm assuming he has other people that record extra scenes. I'd give them a heads up about what you're planning that way you can get the real reaction and they can decide if they want to keep it later.

Thank you everyone. Shawn may be leaving the office early on Wednesday. So, I may be dealing with his assistant when I arrive. If that happens I'll discuss it with the assistant and see what he says.

Otherwise I'll play it by ear on Thursday and see how it feels.

Between this site and the classic site the feeling is about 50/50.
