Right, because when a guy modifies a stock vehicle it’s the manufacturers fault.
Yeah, and I guess I need to pull my trunk lid, hood, doors, and all of the interior to have a race car. He said that his door crash supports were cut out and no cage. Yeah, not the brightest bulb is he? That was 110% his fault for ****ing with the brakes and then just trying to stop from 160+ time after time before really knowing if they are going to work well. Hopefully he is ok, but I'd also hope he learned a few lessons from all of that. You take away structural parts and it's going to ****ing hurt. Dumbass didn't even have a helmet on. Ego out weighs ability it seems. We have all had our moments of "oh shit!!", but common sense says to make sure you have the proper safety equipment on a 150+ 1/4 mile car. Just not the best decision there. Anyway, he could have been in a lot worse shape. Glad it wasn't too bad for him.
Reminds me of all of Vipers that were wrapped around poles leaving the dealerships. No traction control on them back then and idiots who had never driven anything fast trying to slide it around....oops.

My buddy has one, the brakes are horrible. I wouldn't go over 120 without upgrading brakes first.

Brakes are just fine. Car is ****ing heavy and does 150 in the 1/4 mile. Lol.
Brakes are good for one hard brake from 150. My buddy roasted his after back to back runs at Bradenton motor speedway. Since then he upgraded to aftermarket carbon fiber brakes...

What speed rating are the tires? That is the biggest issue when pushing cars are at crazy top end speed.

The speed rating I think is 155 on tires. Trust me, drive one and give it some hard braking a few times from triple digit speeds and the brakes do not feel adequate. They aren't bad brakes, its just physics/very heavy car

I just can't get excited in the least no matter how fast or quick they are at the track. Can't help how I feel.
I agree completely. Probably the most emotionless car I have ever driven but also probably the fastest in a straight line too.
