Not sure if anybody was following this auction on BaT today. Super clean Teal/Grey cloth 93 Cobra, all stock and 33K miles. Car sold for 78.5K. When you take into account the 5% BaT fee, the price was 82K. I can't believe these cars are fetching this money. I should have bought a warehouse full of these when they were cheap a few years ago.

I'm sure all the boomers who loaded up on 2008 Challengers, 2005 Mustang GTs and 2005 Shelby GTs are salivating right now.... Lolzzzzzzzz

Yeah it's beyond crazy really. We were recently looking at the 89 saleen white convertible on there. Not sure what it's at now?

Once it hit 52k I told the wife we are done buying foxbody mustangs for now. So we purchased a 2019 GT350 instead lol.

I'm debating on putting my 93 reef blue hatch on BaT. But I already paid a lot.

Before you do, I’ll offer that “a lot” price, plus a few months of companion goat rental fees (from the other thread).

I need a hatchback Fox, and that one makes me tickly.

Really?

The car isn't perfect, needs a good buff/wax. But I'm the second owner and bought it last November...

I got lucky and picked this up before the craziness started.

My ford tranny tech has his original 91 Saleen w/ 16,000 miles all original minus cat back. White with the side stripes in the trunk never installed. I've been working with him for 15yrs and only seen it at his house one time. Beautiful Mustang

Everything Fox Body is crazy expensive these days.

I try to collect the 1/18 GMP Fox Body cars. They sold for around $140 new. They are going for between $500 and $1000 depending on the version.

I paid $1200 for my real 65 Mustang back in the day LMAO!!!! Now toys/collectables are fetching those prices? Crazy indeed.....

Even my modded, 47,000 mile car with repaint can likely pull high 40's. The big question, when will the price balloon pop? I'm guessing maybe another 10-15 years.

Owned mine since 95, I'll let my kids decide what to do with it. :)

It is crazy indeed. I keep getting offers from people driving by my house when I’m outside. Offering to buy my 1988 Notch Coupe. I always decline and say thanks for the offer. My Notch gets more love than my other cars, it’s great.

Hopefully the SN95 prices are too far behind :)
I don't know if they will ever escalate, but we shall see. I've always thought a good buy right now would be 94/95 Cobra in stock condition. I think they will escalated in the next 5-10 years.

Terminator cars have already started an upswing, but it's not too late to get into one without too much hurt in the wallet. I think they will be the next really hot buy, especially in stock condition.
