Correct. Definitely the type of buyer.

No, sales transaction price. Has nothing to do with cash down.
I will say this. Of all the people that I know that have a good amount of money. Most of them drive either a subaru/toyota or honda.

They're all people that just look at a vehicle as something to get them from A to B.

That's exactly how those people look at their vehicles.

We're the dumb ones. If I could be driving a 2008 Corolla getting 35mpgs, or my F-350 dually getting 10....I'd drive the dually every day and twice on Sundays.

Haha, tell me about it! My neighbors are both surgeons in their late 50's. They both drive your plain jane run of the mill Toyota Corolla.

We have a lot of customers driving plain jane hondas, a lot of times older ones and when I look up their address for shuttle rides I'm like jesus that a nice house. My favorite was this lady with a 10 year old Odyssey full of french fries and car seats but she did everything the van needed to keep it going. She used to drop it off for service and her husband would pick her up in his Audi R8.

A lot of people are like that.
They just look/think of their vehicles as "appliances". One of the bosses at work told me that's how he thinks of his car.
