Finished up the Hanlon short throw shifter in the magnum. Def a much more positive feel and a shorter throw.

Going to take a little getting used to.

In what ways? Tighter shifts?

Yes, very.

Takes a lot more force to move over to the 1st/2nd area.

Naturally falls into third going from second.

Hanlon said it’s a 25% shorter throw but almost seems like more. Need to adjust my timing with shifting and clutch a little.

The seal is up towards the fulcrum point so doesn’t see a lot of movement whereas the Tremec piece had it 1/2” above the end of the shifter. There was just no way the Tremec design would ever last.

Bob Hanlon left me a nearly 2 min voicemail after I called asking about the seal design on their shifter.

What a great company!

Are you buying matching led headlight bulbs from the same place? Any recommendations on headlight bulbs?
Yes! I just got them in today from Amazon while I was at work and literally just put them on. I didn't do any before pics, just after. I replaced the headlight bulbs with Beamtech 9007 fanless bulbs which is a 6500K Xenon white color to match the fogs. Also did Auxbeam 3157 LED bulbs for my reverse lights. I'll take some pics tomorrow and post them up. And more info on the lights.

Is it better to get ones with fans?

Dude on FB has kids with fans. I just really don’t know much about lighting.

I bought some GTR ultra 2s LED lights for my wife’s Yukon which has fans and suppose to keep them cool. It is noticeable when you turn off car and hear the fans with lights on. I just decided to try these Beamtechs for the cobra.

Thanks for that info. Yeah, definitely cool that he would leave you a personal voicemail that long. THAT'S customer service.

Very nice job with wrapping the cutouts, sir.
