Thanks! $26 on Amazon. Haven’t tried it yet at night, but I cannot wait though.
Update the thread after you've tested them at night. I have no doubt you'll be very pleased. You'll be using them as driving lights rather than fog lights, right?

I average 800-1200 miles a yr. first seal had 2k on it, but I have no idea how long it was actually bad though.

I replaced it the first time because it was leaving little drips in the garage. Pulled the shifter bezel out and the carpet insulation was soaked in trans fluid. I heard they get torn from installing the seal dry on the shifter. So I lubed it up with synthetic grease before installing the last time, still no difference. It is just a shitty design.

Tick makes an aftermarket shifter that does away with the seal, first one I’ve seen for the magnum.

I just ordered one from Hanlon Mororsports.

You are correct, installing the seal dry is not the issue. It’s a failure prone design.

Will do! It only comes out in the dark if I take it to work because it’s dark outside about 6am and 7:30pm when driving. More driving lights, but I need to decide what I want for headlights. Projector style, factory replacement with LED bulbs, or DIY projector with Hids/LEDs… Too many to choose from and I’ve read countless threads and still can’t make up my mind.

I hear you about all the choices available to you, and you having to try to decide which one you want. I like a BRIGHT headlight with a long projection.

Just little video comparing my halogen to led bulbs I bought. Pics during day and night and driving.
Those are nice and bright. The light beam is spread out very smoothly. Big color difference compared to the headlights, of course. That's a really great driving mod, for sure. Just a recommendation going forward. While the song you chose for the video is good, there were times that I couldn't hear what you were saying because the music overwhelmed your voice. It's best to fade the music out when you're talking.

Oh, and thanks for the ride in your awesome Cobra. THAT brought back some memories.

Thanks Bob! I thought it needed to be faded down more. Threw it together last night before hitting the hay. Been awhile since I’ve driven at night. Next, headlights!

Finished up the Hanlon short throw shifter in the magnum.

Def a much more positive feel and a shorter throw.

Going to take a little getting used to
