That's great news! Guess we know where you'll be and what you'll be doing on New Years Eve... ;)
Thanks guys and yes I already have it planned out to have her running by Saturday night, hopefully she'll run good on Lunds base tune.
In for pics of hood and engine.
Not sure wish one I want to see more :)
Congrats buddy

I'll be test fitting the hood right after the car gets running, I'm excited to see how it looks and I can't wait to hear the engine for the first time.

And the wait is over lol, the engine finally showed up Monday afternoon and I was able to start getting everything unboxed.

I did get my stock cams, rods and pistons back and I compared the stock 5.8 rod next to a stock terminator rod from my brothers cobra and man what a difference lol, I real wish SVT would have done us better, I can see how they snap so easy. but I have good rods now.

also my Shelby1000 hood showed up, hopefully I'll have it off to paint within the next few weeks, but it looks awesome.

Yup, I only wish Coletti could have been with SVT for the 13/14s. Just crazy seeing how dinky the stock rods really are.
Me too.COLETTI ran the performance part alot better than this ford performance .He wanted alot of fast cars unlike ford performance. With him we would have had a four door fat cat wide body killer,a real lightning with a V8, and a bad ass fat cat jeep killer!!

That rod shows Colletti did the 03/04 guys a solid.

For as much as this car cost new, i can promise buyers would of paid the minuscule amount of additional money for a better rod. The rods and stock tires were the only thing we got the shaft on.

Completely agree with your initial premise. If we're being picky, however, I'd say we got the shaft on rods, stock tires, wheel width, rear brakes, stock shifter, plastic cooling reservoirs, and MS SYNC.

Agreed on all that, but all things considered the stock rods do handle a lot of power, I was just suprised seeing them for the first time in person.

I can agree with these additional ones as well. The 9.5 wheel width is laughable, definitely should of had real brakes in the rear, stock shifter is not good (speaking of which, barton or mgw? Gonna get one and put in before spring), yep, cheap plastic reservoirs and the MS sync is awful.
