Curious as to why you guys/gals are selling your cars.

Selling to cash in with the prices where they are? No? What car are you looking at next?

Wondering, as I always seemed to bounce between 03/04, Corvettes and S550.

So I’ve got to admit I have gone back and forth with myself on selling both of my 03 cobras. I’ve got a 03 Oxford white coupe with 19k miles. Also an 03 cobra black coupe 55k miles. I think of selling the white cobra because it doesn’t see much road time. Just the occasional ride around the block to keep her fluids going, etc. Only reason I’d sell the Oxford white would be to acquire an all original Sonic Blue. The prices these cars bring can be crazy at times, however as enthusiasts and such we should be glad we own a great piece of history, at least that’s what I choose to believe. I remember going home everyday after school in high school looking up that infamous “Snake Bite” Kenne Bell black cobra screaming down the road. Loved it, would have traded a kidney for one back then. As strange as it may sound I’m more on the fence of trading my 2013 Shelby for a 2018 Hellcat Charger just for comfort sake. Each time I think about it I just say, why sell? Add ANOTHER!

I should have went back to an SB before prices exploded… I believe the gt350 is this decades version of the terminator.

Someone needs to transplant an s550 interior into a 03/04 cobra ;) That’s that hardest thing almost 20 years later and the only downside to the 03/04 is the interior imo.

Sadly there’s not really anything good upcoming unless you like to slap paddles or drive a turbo thanks the direction the industry is driving to. Probably be a good time to get a few and I see pricing for low mileage examples of these and other collections increasing.

I’d really love to try a 2015 z/28 but can’t justify the price vs coffin cabin. And the viper is out of my budget. Eventually I’d like to get a 911 or Z06 but I don’t have any ray bans or new balances lol. Just kidding… ;)

I've been on the fence more and more. I want something newer but don't have the room for both.

I just know I'll miss this car more than I'll love the next one so it's staying put

I've wanted a GT350 since they came out. That'll be my next toy car.

The Oxford white sounds like my kind of car. I used to have an 03 oxford white with a hp TT kit. Should have kept it, of course Great collection of cars you have there.

No plans on selling mine. It didn't get driven much last year. But with more toys filling up the shop, it's hard to drive them all.

I prefer the older stuff. Only newer thing I'd consider is a 13/14 Shelby.

No plans to sell mine. But then it's not as pristine as a lot of the other cars here. I think only the original owner and I really care about it.

I do plan to add to my stable within the next couple years though. And it'll probably have paddles and a turbo.

I think about it all the time. Both the Shelby (8,591 miles) and Mystichrome (10,047 miles) are not driven as much. I had the Shelby for about 2 years and the Mystichrome for a year. I bought the Raptor a year ago and I drive it more. I had someone offer me $102K for both cars and that really has me thinking of what I can do with that money......like investing in this bull market right now.

What happens though is that I take either car out for a drive and I just can't sell it. You can always make more money, but to find one of these cars in good condition, at a decent price, is very hard and it's only going to get harder.

I think the longer you've owned an '03-'04 Cobra the more you'd probably regret selling it. The current market is a temptation for some, for sure, but the diehard owners will stand firm in most cases.
