Start saving money now!!! That car will eat it. I bought my 97 with stock everything and a Vortech s trim in 2003, drove it for a couple years, was out racing and popped the motor..I've probably spent 30k on it since then..good luck with it.

2V KB is intercooled but you're going to need either E85 or heads/cam to hit 550whp

I had the vortech aftercooled kit on my 97 cobra. It made 430ish to the wheels for a few weeks before I crushed a rod and windowed my block. A built motor followed, and it ended up making 511rwhp after that. Mine was a vert, but ran 11’s easy with a grippy tire. Low 12’s on nittos.

I’m going to stay with my VORTECH. Everything is getting done to my motor except heads. Just trying to decide if I want 270ah or 268ah cams
