Last Cadillac V8. (625whp!) Last Cadillac manual. Makes me sad. Tons of great info in this video.

This car is special. Very special!

I think it’s worth every penny of 150k ….. that’s not to say I would ever buy this car but I can definitely see the value. It is truly the last of it’s kind

Does that price actually reflect what the dealership is selling them for though? Typically on auto trader and other sites they’re giving you with the sticker prices but when you call the actual sale price will be different.

If you want one and can get one for MSRP you should pull the trigger

Not sure. Probably a bait/switch deal. I've already pulled the trigger........on a swimming pool.

Being the last year and last of its kind, you have to wonder what these will be selling for in just 5 years.

I contacted a bunch of dealers locally and the dealer in FL where I bought my current V. Pretty much the same story, allocations for new orders are basically non-existent. Most cars I find equipped similarly to what I wanted to order were at least $20k over MSRP.

Surprised it’s only 20k over…… 2021 trackhawks that are local to me all have a 50k markup on them.

Now lets see it tested against the best/ E63/M5/RS6
It was tested against a plaid and a M5 CS and lost to both in acceleration and lap time IIRC. I am curious were it lines up against a regular M5 and RS7 but even if it comes in dead last buyers wouldn’t/shouldn’t care. It would make great entertainment though

My only compliant is the size is the gas tank. 16 gallon is puny af, should have came with at least a 20 gallon.

Crazy that porsche gives you an option for a 23.6 gallon tank on a GT3, on a Cadillac CT5V BW, your only option is a 16 gallon.

Was it the 6 speed or 10 they tested ? Cause they list the time at 11.3 @129. Either way losing to M5 on track hurts. Not that M5 is any slouch but you have to believe there were shooting for that type of handling.

It didn't lose to the M5 CS on track.

It was slowest in acceleration.

Comparing track times is nice, but rarely matters on the street. Especially when you're splitting hairs in terms of 10ths of seconds around a race track or 10ths to a couple of seconds in acceleration between cars that are separated by 10's of thousands of dollars in cost.

The CT5 V is by far a bargain in its segment. Add the $24k difference of the E63 S to the CT5 V and see what you can accomplish; or add the $50k+ difference of the M5 CS or Model S Plaid and see what you get.

Personally, I wouldn't do much to it and be happy with its capabilities and all the money I saved.

Sure, it's not a status symbol like the M-B or BMW, but I don’t care.
