Alright fellas, some of you may have seen my original post in road side asking what to do with this ol’ Foxbody.

It’s my buddy’s car and we’ve decided to keep it and give it a refresh.

We’ve decided instead of throwing power at it we’d fix some of the cosmetics and leaks.

What started as fixing a rear main seal and clearing up some valve train noise turned into motor pull, fuel system, suspension, paint, and who knows what else.

I’ll keep this going as we move along

Keeping it a solid driver gets my vote. Replacing worn out parts with nice upgrades like MM parts to keep it sporty and responsive if funds allow, otherwise repo parts and restoring what's there. These cars are at that age they really need a full gone through.

I desperately need to do this to mine so I'll be following this thread. Great job so far! Do you have a budget for this rebuild or timeline?

This is going to be a great project for you, and for us to watch from the sidelines. Good decision you made.

Is that your buddy's Chevelle?

It’s getting mostly new parts. K-member, A-arms are on the way.

Car has coil overs up front from couple years ago.

Rear end has, cobra diff. , 3.73’s, strange 31 splines, strange 10 ways, UPR springs.

No set budget right now, and it’ll be done by spring time.

It’s really going to keep us sane over the long winter.

That’s his fathers car, full chassis off restore on that one. It’ll be on the road by spring. As well as the mustang.

I’ll be sure to keep y’all updated. Do bear in mind we are by no means professionals

Still cleaning the never ending underside for undercoating. Turning out nice!

2nd coat is done, I didn’t crawl under to get many pics tonight. Buddy was doing all the paint and it was still wet.

I’m trying to clean up some of this wiring. Caught two wires with the hole saw, that burned up an hour fixing those little wires.

The rear end housing will be done another day. Want to put adjustable control arms, and spherical bushings at some point. As well as disk conversion.

Hitting the put back together stage soon.
