I like the screen placement in that over the one in the Explorer

302A Limited. This is a 304A. I imagine it would be in the lower $70ks MSRP.
Nice ride.
Being built the last week in Jan. = chip & part issues have been resolved ??

That's kinda week-to-week, really. The F-150 line is shut down in KC right now because they don't have enough windshield washer containers (not sure that's the word) that holds the fluid.

I like the truck, but I was not a fan of that screen/center-stack in the Mach-E. I feel it's borderline dangerous not having physical buttons for the HVAC and stereo controls. I found myself taking my eyes off the road for far too long when trying to make adjustments.

I agree with that. You can't reach over with your eyes closed and do it.

99% of it you can change on the steering wheel though.

Ford is finally stepping up in the interior department. Very nice. That screen is very... Ram-ish.

I like it a lot. I'd also do the Max version.

The MAX is kinda a pain being so long, but with 4 kids, we need the extra room in the back for sports equipment. With the third row up, there isn't a ton of room behind it in the regular length one.

This. There are too many functions on that screen that force you to take your eyes off the road.

But, the average driver will fumble around trying to find the feature they’re looking for, even on the steering wheel. I find on my Genesis that it’s easier but more distracting to just focus on the display. I just don’t find the stacks of functions incorporated into the steering wheel to be easy to use. The answer ultimately IMO will be speech commands.

Man that sure is nice. I really like the new expeditions. Personally I’m not a fan of the tv screen in the dash. Anyway, we are looking for a new truck. But I’m undecided on mid or full size. Only thinking about a midsize bc the misses is a bit clumsy when it comes to full size trucks. And she would be driving it daily.

Voice commands are more unwieldy and take more time than just reaching over and twisting a dial. Bob Lutz talked about this in one of his books back in the day. Makes a great Christmas gift:

I agree. I hate voice commands. I've just now started using the handsfree for talking on the phone. Those robots don't like my voice.
