Woke up today and didn't plan to go see a movie. Wife and I don't usually get free days where we aren't entertaining clients.

I must say, I did not expect much. The last one was a disaster. This one is fantastic. Goes back to its roots and has an incredible tribute to Harold Ramis in the end. If you were a fan of the very 1st one, you'll enjoy this one. Great story and great how they tied everything together. If you've seen it, post your thoughts If you liked or not.

The vast majority of the film was well done with the only issues I found being the boring Stranger Things kid and the woman who plays his mother. The opening scene and the end were proper and did right by the past movies.....w/o giving away anything. Easter Eggs were plenty and many are only understandable by an actual fan of the series rather than a casual observer. Reitman made a fitting sequel that feels like an actual 4th GB movie (3rd is the 2009 game) rather than a cash-in.

I did my research on this movie and knew it wasn’t what the 2016 Ghostbuster with the women was.

I was patiently waiting for this to come out and got the opportunity to do so this evening with a couple friends.

Started a little slow and took a while to build up, but overall very well done. Enjoyed the hell out of it. Some funny moments and great lines in it too. It brought back some great memories of the first two movies.

4.9/5 stars.

That’s good to hear, taking my son to see it for his 7th bday next weekend. For his 6th last year we rented a small local theater and had them play the first one for us and some family members. Got to love the doors Covid opened up to do something that at least.

Egon is his favorite when you ask him he says because he doesn’t smoke lol innocence of little kids lol

The Stranger Things kid is annoying as shit. Paul Rudd has a smug dbag vibe to him, would be into it if those 2 were out.

Those two were nothing more than supporting actors although I'm sure we were supposed to think of the goofy looking kid as another Venkman although his role was somewhat minor. Antman did play as another version Louis so obviously, as a "big" name, he isn't a major player. Neither of those are in the film as much as you think because the story really homes in two other people.
