My 26000 mile (42000km) Canadian spec that I just bought! car was all stock except the tires. I was trying to buy this for 3 years. Guy was second owner and lived 15 mins from me. I had to make him a few offers lol. Started some mods. I drive my cars can't leave it stock!

Congrats. What does Canadian Spec entail? Your new 04 has about the same mileage as my 03.

Do you have a block heater on any of your cars? We've had weather as could as -20F here in Michigan. I've started up a car before below -15F and did not have any issues. I realize starting a car at such low temperatures causes excessive wear and tear since the oil is not flowing properly for a few seconds. I'll only do that with a lease ;)

Yes. However, I hardly ever use them. I live in Minnesota with temps as low as -40.

My summer cars never get started during winter months, and my dailys are outside.

Thanks! So far I added the 18" wheels. Rotors, Brembos, Borla Atak catback. Coolant tanks. Braided lines, Tinted Windows, Mgw shifter with your gasket lol. Afco heat exchanger. Deleted Egr.
Waiting for H&R Springs right now. Just got my CC plates. This winter will be Jlt intake and Metco pulleys.
I do some Powdercoating on the side so I will be doing the Valve covers, pulley bridge, coil covers and rear Calipers.

I have a stock pile of parts FTBR bushing kit, Ford racing cover, ARH headers and off road X-pipe and some other stuff that I will install when I get a hoist. Im hoping in the spring for the hoist!

My diesel tech school instructor used to do contract work way up in NW Alaska somewhere

Said when they would have antifreeze delivered in 55g barrels it would be frozen solid.

They would only turn the equipment off to service it inside a heated shop. Other than that, running 24hrs a day

You've got a busy winter ahead of you. LOL. Great list of new mods. With all of that modifications work, Spring is going to come sooner than you expected. ;)
