Crowdfunding from family sounds both genius and crazy.
How are you guys managing the family dynamic/interference?

For instance, is mom the ceo because well, she’s mom?

That is awesome for you and your family, Jeff. I have NO doubt this venue is going to be stellar/primo. You don't do things halfway. It's all or nothing. Keep us posted, of course.

Property looks stunning.

If you don’t mind me asking, what was the initial investment and anticipated time frame to break even on it?

Cool. It used to be a care facility/hospital, correct? Ideal place for hauntings of the horrible kind. (kidding) Wish you the best with everything.

Some of that we don't want public, but most likely a 10-15 year period before break even.

Yes. It was a polio hospital. We gutted it and added two stories on the wings, and another 4 stories to the center, plus the large steel structure in the middle that will have the covered car check and unload area and lobby on the 1st floor, restaurant on the 2nd, Rooms on the 3rd and a private suite on the top floor.

And yes, it is haunted. I've seen a ghost. Several of the workers have seen and heard a little girl. All of the best hotels are haunted.

Thanks! We have a wedding venue already that does 2 to 3 weddings a week. We can probably do about 12 a week based on the calls we get. So, this will help with that overflow. The current venue/restaurant/pub is only 5 minutes down the road. Milton, WV will be a one stop shop for everything. We will also be able to fully outfit the bride and groom from the Resort, as it will also have a Bridal boutique, etc.

This is the other venue. The Venetian Estate.

This is awesome. I live about 1-1.5 hr south of Milton. That’s our stopping spot on our way to hunt in Ohio. Sheetz right off Milton exit. This would be fantastic for the area for sure. I would def frequent it.

Looks like a ton of work, but cannot imagine the feeling you're going to have when its 'done'. Props.

And double props for making your mom ceo. I would NEVER make my mom CEO of shit. lolol

BOOOO :)

Is this your families first go at something this big? Or do you guys have a bunch of experience? I am over here stressing over looking at 4 plexes as investment properties.

I am happy for you and your family but can't imagine taking on this size of a project in the climate we are in right now. Props to you brother.
