Any updates?

yes! I laid all the graphics on and they came out awesome!

I ended up going with a Trinity Stage IV single carb set up and that's been my delay. It shipped out yesterday and my engine builder needs the intake manifold that comes with the carb to finish the engine. Hopefully next week I can get the motor back and fire this bad boy up! That's really all I need at this point is the motor.

Man, that's looking good.

Thanks man!

**** me, wish I had kept mine, although I am more of a bike guy. I bought a cheap one too, needed work. Actually it was a trade lol.. I ended up rebuilding the whole motor and bike . Put on brand new wheels, new exhaust, tires, plastics, the whole thing. It was monster energy theme. That mother ****er was FAST. I really wish they had the quality nowadays. This newer shit ****ing sucks donkey balls.

Well...it's been a long seven or so month's since I dropped off my motor at the engine builder, but, it's finally done! Man this thing is beautiful. I went and picked it up the other day and I am super pumped. I've been crazy busy with work lately and it's pretty damn cold in my garage, but I am going to try and make time soon to get this motor in and get this bad boy buttoned up

So, long time no update. I've been insanely busy with life and work..but....SHE'S ALIVE.

Long story short, everything is pretty much buttoned up. Last week I decided to start her up for the first time. I kicked it over about 20 times, and then I held the throttle at WOT and she fired up! It ended up being that the idle was way too low.

I broke the motor in per my engine builders instructions and road it around the block yesterday for the first time. I didn't really go crazy but she rips! Friday I am bringing it down to my buddies shop to do the alignment which is desperately needs, as well as make sure the jetting is good but then she's a wrap!

I put the rear fender on and heel guards last night. Boy am I excited to be completely finished with this build. Also, Friday we will be putting it on the dyno for shits and giggles. I will update the thread accordingly.

Overall I am super happy with everything. If I could go back and do it over again there are a lot of things I would have done differently but lesson learned.
