Same with my battery, added some electrolyte solution, re charged and good to go. But took it out and picked up a new Motorcraft. Didn't need to take a chance on the original. My Original battery was taken out last year.My original 2002 battery finally died...
but I popped the caps and found it low on water and two cells showing the top dry..
So, I added distilled water and put on the trickle charger
After a week still no green light, yellow indicating charging and the volts were good. All but one cell bubbling on 50A charge.. problem in one cell.
Another week goes by and bingo, fully charged green light good to go... desulfation must have taken a full two weeks.
Original battery 19 years and still going strong....... what's the record?

And here I was worried about my 2012 battery lol! My Terminator has had two batteries. The original was replaced in 2012. The replacement has been on a trickle charger mostly. However I did run a 10A charge through it for a few hours this weekend. Now it's back on the trickle charger. I am going to disconnect it and wait a few days and then check the voltage to see if it has any issues.My original 2002 battery finally died...

Noticed I had a small oil leak. Traced it to the dipstick. The rubber o ring was dried up and broke part. Since the tube was a bit mangled from my long tube install I bought a Lokar unit. Fits amd works perfect.
Is the Max/Min still in the correct location on the stick?

Is that the one getting the VMP?pulled the engine out of my coupe today. did it on my vert for the first time last year and learned alot. goal is to replace all valve stem seals (burns oil) and upgrade all spark plug holes with lock-n-stitch inserts.
