Got the transmission back today, super pump how fast they knocked it out. all new bearings synchros, seals, tremec 26 spline, lethal billet tob tube, 1-2 collar, 3-4 collar, and 5-6 collar.

Waiting on the correct 26 spline spec3+ disc to show up next week and it all goes back together.

Must say, not having any exhaust to play with when pulling the transmission makes it 100× easier.

Been putting miles on the car and it feels great.. Unfortunately I have been pulled over a few times for exhaust being loud.

All police officers have been nice and let me go but looks like I'll be ording the piping to route the exhaust out the back.

So far it will be 4in round down pipe, to 4in oval under the K member, then back to 4in round into a 4in to 3in y pipe, to meet some 3in axel backs I have.

Debating on whether to straight pipe it or throw some resonators in. I have a feeling the exhaust out the back will he quiet it down but don't want a raspy sound either.

God, your turbo project sis just like my 2vs turbo project, seemingly never ending and you can never quite iron out all of the bugs. Looks Great though! The welding has to make things a bit easier.

mostly nitpicking at this point. It runs and drive great. Traction is really the biggest issue now. I ha e 305/35s but will go to a 26" to see how that does.

Finally got my car back from paint so now time to order parts for the exhaust. Freaked out when I picked it up because it had some oil in the down pipe (and smpkey) and a slight ticking noise.

Oil cleared out after a wot pull and tick ended up being something in the door pocket.

Has clean bill of health, still no traction from 1-4 gear haha. Ambient was 50° and my iat2s were 55° top of 4th read 21psi and 11.9af, truly stoked how well the a2w intercooler is doing.

hopefully have all the pie cuts beginning of January and will start the assembly of the new down pipe and routing out the back.

hope everyone has some time with the family this holiday season.

Happy Holidays!

had some questions on my vac line routing so I've this sketch.

engine bay/car side
back of manifold lid to FRPS/Fuel Reg, to HVAC controls (through firewall), then to top of BOV

Turbo side
from turbo boost reference to Boost controller, then to wastegate(s)

got some new wheels to finally get traction. I have had 2 pulls with the car that actually hooked. Let's see how the halfshafts like these haha.

fronts are 17x9s
rears are 15x10s

I didn't want bead locks but Weld sent them and told me 8 weeks for the correct pair so I just took them, I guess free upgrade. I also have a set of 17x11s coming for a normal driver wheel, they're about 4 weeks out.

well just my luck the fronts don't clear my calipers.

I ordered 17x9 fronts and they said "medium pad height" should clear. Well they didn't clear and now it's 5 more weekends for 17x9 with "high pad height".I even tried stacking 5mm spacers to see how off it was but at 10mm it was still hitting. Weld called baer and confirmed sizes of calipers to make sure they clear with the "high pad height".

I've been waiting on some parts as well that finally came in. Got my Maximum Motorsports tierods in today, super easy to install. waiting on some modified konis for my coilovers in the rear and some low pro bolts before I fit the beadlocks on.

Hopefully it will be good to go. Sadly I wanted to use the wheels in Fabulous Fords Forever in Los angels this year but I'll be using my 10th anny wheels instead.

Anyone else goin to fab ford forever April 24th in LA?

You can always find a CNC guy to mill some clearance in the front spokes as there is a LOT of meat there that won’t sacrifice the integrity of the wheel unless it’s on weld to fix. The anniversary wheels look great on there
