Yesterday was a sad day, sold my 2003 SB Lightning (original owner) to a guy from Wisconsin. Seems like she’ll be in good hands as he had another and was also an enthusiast. I know I’ll miss it and kick myself later but I’ve got 2 small kids and recently divorced so I needed a decent Dadmobile. I am looking forward to the V, it’s a 2009 so has the LSA, 556 HP and is bone stock for now. Let the new adventure begin!

Definitely was, I loved that truck and it has been through life with me since I was 18. Ultimately couldn’t afford to have both and had lost interest in the last few years. The market was right and made sense to sell. I’m sure I’ll be back, I have an F350 still and would like to pick up a Ranger somewhere along the line.

Nice car. Sold my Raptor and got into a 19 CTS-V. No regrets.

Would be really really hard giving up a SB L. But the V will be fun in its own right. A built LSA is pretty wicked

Coming from a former cts-v owner I don't think I could get rid of a sb lightning for one. They are very fun though.

Congratulations.

I sold a nice truck to go to college, and a motorcycle to build a house.

I bought a V2 about 5 years ago. Great car and the last analog V. The Cue system they changed to sucks imo. You never see them on the road, unlike the 80 million SRT Chawjaas.

Good choice.

Congratulations on the one hand, but sad that you had to let your SB L go. How many miles were on it?
