We don’t have any kids and she currently makes more than me. So should be a smooth transition. I’m more concerned that my double bypass surgery is scheduled for the 23rd and school starts August 23rd. Hoping I have recovered enough to be able to go to school this semester.
55% of first marriages end in divorce with women filing about 80% of them. They are incentivized with laws on the books shoveling them free money to break a contract. Alimony, child support etc.. Then they can go back and attempt to get more when they are broke.
My logic has always been I’m not placing my life, half my possessions and future on the line for a coin flip. If she came with nothing, she should leave with nothing especially if I do more of the parental shit.
I spent 15yrs with my sons mom, less than half happily and never married her so I made out okay. Hell my son will be 12 in August and hates her. I literally tell him to respect her all while laughing in my head as she did it to herself.
My problem is I’m 44 but look 30 and date younger when I do. I’m not interested in 40-50yr old divorced woman but the younger girls are literally train wrecks and ruined by modern feminism/liberalism and general wokeness. I’m married to my Fleshlight anyway.
isn't the divorce rate pretty close to 50%? That's just the first marriage, each subsequent marriage the divorce rate continues to climb, by the third it's almost a statistical certainty you'll split, starting to think the ones that don't are just because somebody kicks the bucket.

It was over 50 but has fallen in the last few years simply because less men are falling into the trap and a lot are just not dating at all due to the state of the current marketplace.
Second is 65% and third is 73% divorce rate. ****ing insane.
That’s because we live in a society of instant gratification and entitlement. If the generation of this day in age doesn’t get their way they cry and just give up and look to the other side of the fence hoping for greener grass. No one has any fight in them anymore.

It’s been so long since I rode a bike, that I already forgot how many wheels they have!
Long story short, she shutdown emotionally. She would essentially ignore me while I was trying to talk to her (would be playing some dumb ass game on her phone), so I would go out to the garage to drink instead of being ignored. Eventually I got tired of this arrangement and confronted her about it. She filed for divorce while I was in the hospital after my heart attack…lol
