I just wanted to make as many people aware as possible that if you shop at Badger Mountain Supply, you're asking for trouble. It's an online gun store based out of Washington State.

I saw some mags on their website that nobody else had in stock, and I didn't research who I was buying from. I made an order, but they never shipped the product. I waited 2 months and was nice about asking for updates. When I asked for my money back, they treated me like dog shit. I disputed the charge with my credit card company and ordinarily wouldn't make a big deal about it on a forum like this. But the fact that they continued to email me after I told them I was done really chapped my ass. I told them I'd post an honest review on every message board I visit, so here I am.

You don't have to take my word for it....there's even a local news article about them. The BBB gave them an "F" rating. So beware....if you spend money there, you will likely get screwed. I should have done my research...my fault. Lesson learned.

With as expensive as everything 2A related is, Im surprised I havent heard more of this kind of thing going on.

I worked for a few gun stores over the years and to tell you the truth most of us do not want to tick off the wrong person, if you know what I mean and have them show up for a little indoor target practice.

I primarily buy from SGAMMO, Aim Surplus, & Centerfire Systems without ever an issue. Jeffh81 turned me on to Wolf Hill for specialty ammo and targets. Btw anyone see Jeff around lately?

I'm just glad PSA is local to me, and they are opening a new shop 12 miles down the road. Bass Pro is nearby if you want to pay full retail on everything, but in normal times they do have a good selection.

Nice. Wish I had a local shop like that. I have enjoyed shopping at PSA online. Bought from them the other day and was impressed with the price, shipping speed, and forging quality.

I guess I had this expectation/blind trust in the back of my head that because a company is selling 2A products, they're generally going to hold a set of values that <most> 2A supporters cherish. Most 2A enthusiasts seem to value hard work, honesty, patriotism, etc. Not Badger Mountain Supply. A bit naïve of me to think that way.

well that sucks.

Can't say we have any great local shops, there's one I deal with because they'll hold stuff for us when it comes in and that's about the only damned way to get anything these days. We certainly aren't getting any discounts

That's probably the reason why I have never heard of them given I'm in Washington as well. Our big gun stores, like Rainier Arms, are treasured as they have been a great company to buy from since they were just an online store selling products out of a small warehouse not far from their current store, and now the owner has a Ferrari 488, 911 Turbo, and a ZL1 L1E that I see out front of the store on nice days. I'll make sure the spread the word to people I know not to buy from Badger Mountain and hopefully their reputation will put them out of business soon.

Where are they putting a PSA? My girlfriend’s parents live in Longs.
