California's 'Assault Weapon' Ban Unconstitutional, Says Federal Judge

The judge also notes that "killing by knife attack is far more common than murder by any kind of rifle. In California, murder by knife occurs seven times more often than murder by rifle….A Californian is three times more likely to be murdered by an attacker's bare hands, fists, or feet, than by his rifle."

I saw this morning. Hopefully this pans out. Gov Newsom is already jumping on this.

A judge that has common sense? amazing...
Always good to see a judge with common sense rule in favor of the 2A.

Not holding my breath, it'll be stayed and then struck down by another judge or something.
But....to your point, it is too often the judgement is short-lived. Still, it illuminates hope!

Hoping other states are paying attention !!

Oh, I'm 100% sure other states are paying attention. Especially Blue states like mine, where common sense is completely missing and hatred for 2A is rampant. These Deep Blue states will be devising some sort of legislation to prevent this.

This case has every possibility of going before SCOTUS. It's possible this could be up there with the Heller decision.

Of course, cuck Newsome came out saying ridiculous nonsense about it.

I’m not gunna hold my breath on this one, buuutttttt this is gunna start setting a tone I think. I know a lot of you dudes hate California and all solely because of gun laws and rightfully so. But I’ve lived in San Diego better part of 20 years now and SoCal is surprising a lot more Red than you would think..... well minus LA. But the point is, there is no fewer than 6 military bases here in the San Diego area. Ton of military personnel and retired military guys such as my self that love our guns. Then you talk to the guys that live out further in the east side of the county they too really love their guns. I think this Judge is displaying some common sense and hopefully we something fruitful come from it.
