Used Royal Purple 75W 140 here and it also has the added friction modifiers. Didn't bother adding more. Been running it for quite a few miles (I also have 3.73 gears) and all seems well. In fact, I think it's made things a bit quieter....something I didn't expect, but happy for. Good luck with yours.

It's apparently common for more noise from the gears when you change out to 3.73's.....

I am finally changing to 3.73's in my 2008. Here in the UK the best option for oil I can get to is this from Motul.

Motul GEAR Competition 75W-140 Car Gearbox & LSD Oil

It appears to already have friction modifier added, do you think I will be OK with this, or should I still add a quantity to it?

Thank

Jeff

Why not go 410s? Depending on the gear you have now 373s might not be worth the money.

Running the oem 3.31 currently, car has a VMP TVS & makes around 670. From what I have researched, the 3.73s should do the job......

Big fan of the 3.73's better off the line, not too many revs when cruising down the highway. You'll like them very much over the 3.31's.
