Was the jaguar C- X75 on this level or more like the 918,P1,Laferrari ? I was looking forward to that one but then never actually released it
I don't think it was quite on the level of the Aston & Mercedes. That's the same car that was in Bond's Spectre right?

Not sure, haven't watch a bond film in 20+ years. I know this one was SC and turbo charged 4cyl with electric motors at each wheel totaling around 1,000hp with 11k redline and it was pretty lightweight.

How many years they been working on this now ?

how many more years till delivery?

local car dealer sold his McLaren F1 for $15 mill a few years back to make room for this AMG 1.
No matter how sick the AMG One turns out, he made a bad move unloading an F1 IMO.

The C-X75 would have been more like the McLaren Speedtail or more along the lines of what Aston has planned for the follow-ups to the Valkyrie with the all new mid engine Vanquish and the other one that I forget the name of at the moment. Fast, but I don't think as raw as the Porsche, Ferrari, or McLaren. Like a hyper-GT if that makes sense. The Speedtail is probably the best comparison.

There's nothing memorable about the sound - TJMO. What am I missing?
You are missing so much that it is easier for everyone to point and laugh than it is to explain it to you but in all honestly if somebody has to explain it to you then you likely wont get it anyway. Its expected on svtp so dont worry about it man.

What are the specs of this car? It's been so long since I first seen it I honestly forgot. Isn't it something like 800hp from a 1.8L inline 6 and a 12k redline with a curb weight below 2,700lbs?

Not worried about it and yes I don't get it. It sounds like nothing. I had to put on earphones to even hear anything. Whatever though. If you think it sounds great awesome! It makes no difference to me.

Sound is sound in my opinion - you don't need a PHD to explain it.

1.6L V6 revving to the moon, hybrid system, e-spooled turbo, literally a detuned Merc F1 powertrain that can idle under 2500 rpm and go more than 200 miles without a rebuild.

In addition to what Mike said above. 217mph top speed. 275 total made @ 2.7 million each. All sold! Total output in excess of 1k with hybrid system.

I am still more excited for the Valkrrie, assuming it actually ever hits the streets...

2022 Aston Martin Valkyrie: What We Know So Far

Key stats:
naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V-12 and an electric motor. A seven-speed automatic transmission directs power to the rear wheels. Alone, the V-12 delivers 1000 horsepower, while the battery-electric system—designed by Rimac and Integral Powertrain—contributes an additional 160 horsepower. Combined, the power sources produce a total output of 1160 horsepower and 663 lb-ft of torque
