Why? If the OP likes a Tag why should he skip it?

unless there's some really compelling reason... I'll keep an eye out for a decent deal on it. I've spent a decent amount of time browsing (and will probably continue to do so) but outside of what I posted anything that's caught my eye has been exponentially more expensive.

I've recently been looking around at Target. Historically, I've been able to find some steals at Walmart, but man... I gotta say, they really have let the quality drop at Wally World.

Luxury Time Watches

Skip the Tag H.

They’ve got a bit of bad wrap amongst the watch aficionados because of they’re quartz movements, they’re diluting of the brand and heritage. I say buy what you like but it’s worthwhile to look around the used markets for one since their MSRP’s tend to be overpriced in my opinion.

Im really really wanting a Omega seamaster

Subed!

Do it!!
Just picked this up, Seamaster 300m. Love this watch and the exhibition case back.

I sold some of my more expensive watches and just rock quartz ones. For now anyways (Flamesuit on)

Never cared that it could lose a few minutes over a week. I work on a computer so it's not like they got too much movement.

Like why do I have a 5k watch that in 2-3 weeks could be 5 minutes off. Just irked me. So I buy overpriced quartz ones lol.

What is the price on a tag these days? I have my eye on a panda face Tudor black bay just can’t justify dropping so much on a watch when I barely wear the ones I have.

There are many other options that are far superior to tag. Don’t get caught up in the hype of the advertising. the world of watches is huge, and there are many Swiss watches that will destroy a overpriced, and well advertised Tag.
Skip the Quartz movement as well, go balls deep and go automatic.

I pulled up a bunch of brands sites for watches, that’s what I’ve liked best so far.

While I do appreciate insight I’m not balls into watches nor do I intend to be

I said the same thing long ago.
After about 20 I had to reel it in.
Ended up selling most of my collection and keeping only a few.
Check out Graham, Corum, Glashutte,
And Chopard just to get you in the low to mid range timepieces.

I completely missed out on the fancy watch thing and sometimes really regret it. As an outsider I marvel at how big a role it plays and the joy it brings to those into that sort of thing.

At the country club where I golf it's not uncommon to see a table full of guys with their wrists displayed in the middle of the table looking at each other's watches. You'll hear everything from sympathy to sheer awe as they establish their relative importance within the group. When one of them gets a new piece of hardware he instantly sets a new PB and vaults up the rankings.

Last year one of the younger guys announced that he had broken it off with the girl he was set to marry that very weekend. People worried about how he was doing until he tugged up his sleeve and showed the $20K+ watch the jeweller had directly swapped for the engagement ring. Cheers rang out from the whole bar as his fiancee was known to be a total bitch.

Sometimes I think I shiuld get a watch.

If you like a Tag buy it but it won’t hold any value when you get tired of it.
My dad is a watch idiot savant. Rule of thumb to make it easy. Buy the most Rolex you can afford if you want to get into watches. Then when you get tired you won’t lose much at all and may even make a little.
They are extremely tough and the sport models are always sought after. Are there better watches than Rolex? Absolutely.
