I thought this was a decent movie. Some people complain that they wanted to see more destruction scenes but in my opinion they balanced it right and put you into the situation of the family trying to survive. People would not have a birds-eye view of the destruction in real life and there's been plenty of movies depicting it. There are a few cool destruction scenes though and I think the special effects were decent.

It's a decent movie and worth a watch. I like most of Gerard Butler's movies.

It was better than that lol! Not a perfect movie but decent I think. Gerard Butler gave a good performance.

Critical response
On review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes, the film has an approval rating of 78% based on 149 reviews, with an average rating of 6.3/10. The website's critics consensus reads: "Beware, comets of Greenland: Gerard Butler is here to protect Earth – and show audiences an improbably entertaining time."[27] On Metacritic, it has a weighted average score of 64 out of 100 based on 25 critics, indicating "generally favorable reviews".[28]

Writing for the Chicago Sun-Times, Richard Roeper gave the film three out of four stars, saying, "Unlike the typical, effects-laden, comet-threatens-the-planet B-movie, Greenland is more in the vein of Steven Spielberg's War of the Worlds, with the scenes of chaos and destruction serving as the backdrop for the story of one family's desperate quest for survival — even when circumstances have ripped them apart."[29] Writing for IndieWire, David Ehrlich gave the film a grade of B and said, "By eschewing spectacle and focusing on the human scale of a crisis, Greenland becomes the rare disaster movie that feels realistic."[30]

I’ll check it out for sure. It will give me a reason to use my HBO Max subscription that I’ve used 2 times for Godzilla vs Kong and Mortal Kombat for my son.

It wasn't as good as I hoped. A lot of contrived drama that didn't need to be there. Plus interesting who was helpful and who was evil the whole movie through but w.e.

if any of you in here haven't seen Den of Thieves yet, WATCH IT! GREAT MOVIE!

You're an A-hole, just blew 2 1/2 hours and got nothing done that I was supposed to. Wife is going to go up one side and down the other.

Damn good movie with an unforseen plot twist at the end. Thanks for the tip.

Fiddy!!! That one is actually pretty badass. A few corny scenes but was an all around good popcorn flick.

Also if anyone is a GB fan and hasn't seen "RocknRolla" doing yourself a disservice. Guy Ritchie movies are great. "The Gentleman" is still on Showtime and is an amazingly good time, actually laughed out loud at one point.
