If he had a Mach E he would have gotten away. Electric vehicles will usher in a new age of criminals. Won't somebody think of the children?

Or are they? I've seen chases where people got gas and kept going. Going to pull up to the charger and call timeout while you grab a latte?

Moral of the story always top off before being a douche.

(Taking you literally get it was sarcasm)

That's why you put a couple of metal rods on the top of the roof to function as a pantograph and recharge while you drive, like the electric buses do.

If they were still making the Red Green show I'm sure they'd do a handyman's corner on how to make your own pantograph out of an old TV antenna, a shopping cart, and duct tape so you don't have to pay for charging.

Lol he does look older than 47.

Here is a photo of Rob Lowe from 2021 at age 57, 10 years older than the rough looking dude! LOL Yeah we all don't age the same.

At least the 143 mph claim is believable given the picture posted was an S550 5.0. Sometimes these stories make me question the accuracy when someone is supposedly clocked doing 130+ in a 90s shitbox.

Also wouldn't have been doing 143mph lol

A few years ago I rented a 2018 Ecoboost Mustang in Vegas. I was pleasantly surprised and could definitely see it hitting 140+ on the open road as it was still pulling decently at 120.

Sad to say I love my Ecoboost 150. Hit speeds way higher than safe with a just a tune. Was thinking 5.0 but too much money in the 4.6 learned my lesson. Idea was buy the 3.5 tune and don't touch it after that. If I had a 5.0 I'd be looking VMP and money pit 2.0. Honestly big Ecoboost fan, more than enough for a DD F150.

Ya, Ford didn't screwup in the power department with the Ecoboost 2.3, 2.7 and 3.5. A local tuner here just posted a dyno graph of a 2.7 Ecoboost that put down 375/505 on a 93 tune. I don't recall if it had a downpipe but even if it did, that's pretty impressive.

I feel you though, other than my DD every vehicle purchase I make again will be based on the availability of aftermarket FI options.
