@Malern28us you're right! I just ordered a new RZR xp4 1000 at a local dealer, basically MSRP but he waived all other fees (prep, delivery, ADMbs) so it was MSRP +tax lic
That's better than what I have seen. I went to a dealer in Michigan to buy one in stock and he refused to sell to me because I live in Indiana. If you go to ATVtrader.com some of the dealers are posting it in their ads.
Even worse, I contacted the local Mohawk Lift dealer, a System 1A is now $10k! That's a 60% increase in pricing!

@Malern28us yup, that is why i jumped on it, everywhere else wanted $5k over MSRP + tax and lic! the only catch is since it is an order it will take 8 weeks or so to come in, I'm cool with that and save$$

What about used car prices??

I'm always browsing the C7 ZR1 Corvette and they are asking way over MSRP for used ones. Huge money. Average price was about 150k.

They're insane too. I saw a rusty V6 SN95 go for $7500 this week. That used to be pretty clean GT money. And I don't think it's because those cars are becoming collector items.

I had one coworker with a couple of barely running deathtraps, one a Flintstone special. No one would touch them. As soon as the third stimulus hit he had buyers lined up to throw money at them.

When you throw billions into the economy...this is what transpires.

If people had a $5,000 budget that they had saved for, they still have that, and have money on top from the stimulus packages that they had never imagined they'd see.

Not only that, but all these people realizing they're sitting on tons of cash from not going out to eat, not going on vacation, not commuting, etc... Making for a whole lot of throwing money around and a whole lot of inflation.

My V2 is being a huge pain in the ass, so I decided to look around at some 10R80 5.0s, as I used to have one and I have a thing for mustangs anyways.

After looking at the used prices for those, I decided to just spend the money to fix up the V2.

My FIL has a clean ‘08/‘09 range 550i (I think) he wants to sell. He needs to get the damn thing listed.

I’ve been debating selling my Vette simply due to cashing in on the market. I owe around 37K and it only has 7k miles on it. Very tempting with the used prices I’ve been seeing and C8 shortages/delays/cancellations keeping them high.

Carvana just offered us a little over 21k for our 12k mi 2019 Civic Sport. Going to sell it I think and get out of the payment. Ride out with used stuff for now.

Id imagine that’s not much less than you paid new. We are seeing that at our Honda dealer, off lease cars are worth almost what people paid 3 years ago. We are offering way over book for trades and still selling everything for a higher profit that normal.
