I’m sure people saw my constant posts about selling it.

Well a dealership made the right offer.

It wasn’t what I needed for a vehicle given where I am in life. I’m trying to road trip a lot more. Go places. Adventure around. I work half the time I used to, and sitting around the house wasn’t cutting it. I just visited family and it was a 600 mile round trip and it was BRUTAL to say the least in the Shelby.. plus bringing my dog everywhere I go.. I needed something that I can drive in any weather, anywhere . Throw my dog in and we just go.

Sooo... I used to have one of these 6-7 years ago in Colorado. Saw this one and absolutely LOVED the red, so pulled the trigger on it and made a deal.

Stock other than the light bar. It may get tires in the next couple months just for when we go to the mountains or the beach or something.

Congrats man. Enjoy.

Yeah,....the Shelby as a daily driver would not be my first choice either.

shit it’s not even a daily.

it’s just driving anything more than 20-30 miles ... **** it.

A road trip? No way. I loved it around town... but anything more than that. No way. And no point in keeping a car I really don’t like driving

I bought a new JKU in '13 and daily it. Same thing, dogs, and I can take it anywhere. But for long trips (14-16hrs straight through) I am happy with the '20 GT500 I picked up. The Recaros can be painful after a few hours but the car is a dream to drive. The best part about the Jeep is that it is so slow that I'm about guaranteed to never get a speeding ticket. Can't say the same for the GT500.

yeah man.

between packing all her stuff and a bag for me. Trunk was full.. no room in the backseats. The 08 interior is definitely way uncomfortable. Plus shit gas mileage.

I just wanted a true “ all around “ vehicle. That can still look good. And I’ve noticed even after having the Shelby , speed did nothing for me. I never really romped on it at all.

I’m 34 feeling like I’m 64 haha

Big switch, and hopefully you'll have a long-term love for your Jeep. Congrats on the buy, and great paint color.

If you put bigger tires on and don’t regear…you’re gonna miss at least SOME of the speed lol. Although the 2dr moves so much better than the 4dr.

I just can’t seem to get rid of mine, most dependable vehicle I’ve ever had. 146k on a 2010, drain plugs pulled, daughter loves it, it just does it’s job so well.

Congrats! My wife is on her 4 Jeep Wrangler I believe. Only vehicle she will drive. Almost every Jeep I see has a lady driving it. Jeep hair don't care and all that jazz. Get your Jeep wave down...lol. ;) What years is it?

Haha, I can totally understand OP's logic. Shelby ≠ daily driver
