It was interesting seeing as many guys jump to his defense about it. Totally missed the point which was the deception of the swap in the initial ad. Admitting to it after the fact does NOT absolve him of the initial deception.

Most probably dont care. But as @svtfocus2cobra and his dad found out, it can be a big killer years down the road. And THAT is what the sellers dishonesty needs to be called for.

I'm sure there are plenty of buyers today that dont care and would gladly own it. But what happens to the next owner that wants to sell, only to have offers pulled from people who know their shit and see it's not eligible to be an original car

Well, we can only do what we can and is ultimately up to the buyer if he/she will accept what is put forth on this vehicle.

I know one of the people coming to his defense is a friend who mentioned that the swapped 2LZ interior looks excellent or whatever. Yeah for all I know he probably helped in the swap.

I also like the initial posts from the OE poster going on and on about the pricing and how other cars are listed on sites and what not. Like buddy you are really trying too hard here to justify the price and/or are trying hard to deflect away from the "undisclosed changes" you did.

How about when he said "my friends told me I was selling the wrong car it is certainly my best out of all the Z06's I have". Well, if it was your best maybe you shouldn't try to pull a interior swaparoo with it before selling or sell it complete as purchased by you.

I'm done. It will play out how it plays out.

There is a discrepancy with the mileage the seller has listed in his ad and when he purchased the vehicle from me last year. The seller has changed the gauge cluster from the metric one the car had since new to a US cluster along with the downgraded interior swap. The gauge cluster swap isn't an issue with me but mileage difference would be a BIG issue with any buyers.

Stay tuned as I am not confirming anything with regards to mileage on this car until I find out more.

I emailed the seller regarding the discrepancy back on Friday with my supporting emails and pics documenting the mileage going back from summer 2019 right up to the day he arrived by air to pick up the car and drove it from my home in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada to his home in Old Saybrook, CT. on March 20, 2020.

I am giving him an opportunity to explain the difference in mileage and I have yet to hear anything from him. I understand he probably doesn't want to contact me whatsoever and that's fine but I am giving him till the end of the day today and if there is nothing from him to explain the mileage I will put my supporting facts online.

I WANT TO MAKE THIS ABSOLUTELY CLEAR................at no time am I accusing anyone of anything illegal. The vehicle was purchased from me with a certain mileage and the activities of the current seller during his 1+ year of ownership makes me believe the stated mileage in his ad is incorrect and eventually he will have to answer to the discrepancy. Right now a pic from him of the dash showing the current mileage of the Z will prove or disprove my concerns.

I thought if you went to a car show all the Corvettes are 1 of 1 collectors.

"Yeah it's the only 2019 with the LT1 PDQ ABC R88 packages bow tie blue with black stripes, factory floormats, scotch guarded seats, upsized cupholders, with the engine manufactured on a Tuesday in April by a guy name Craig."
hahahahahahahaha... the vette owners do tend to be rather offensive ass serpents dont they? i hope no vette owners are offended by this....... being as gentle as i can here.
