Ok..you know damn well you are going to have to break out that multimeter!

I would check the switches first.
A bad passenger switch will block any signal from the driver's side switch. You can pull the switch out and jumper it, then work it from the driver's side.

Also, there is a window system ground lug that gets loose over time. It is behind the DS kick panel where the hood latch pull is. Check that.

I have had to go through this as well.
Currently my passengers side window motor has finally died. I took it out, cleaned it up and regreased it, but now it is dead.

Also mice love to chew on wiring...little bastards.

ALSO if you go to get a motor or an entire assembly, be forwarned that many aftermarket motors and assemblies are not interchangeable! New motors often will not swap over to OEM assemblies. Be careful what you buy!

Mine did the same. Google how to get switches out of the door panel. Open the switches and clean. Apply plastic safe electronic cleaner .
I did not have the cleaner and corrosive inhib, so it has reoccurred. It worked good for a while.

I love any conversation that starts with "you know damn well you're going to have to break out that multimeter"

Not scared of a multimeter use it all the time to check capacitance and trouble shoot hvac systems, but asking here started me in the right direction.

Got to playing around with the window switches, did switch musical chairs and got the windows to go up and down depending on which switch I had plugged in where.

Ive got 3 switches in my cart from LMR.com

Ill give them a try and see what happens. Making lemons out of this while the door switch bezels are out Ill paint them ‘03 anniversary style I always liked the color accents in the doors.

Ill post back with results. Thanks for the help glad to be back around here

And you found it without a multimeter.
I stand corrected.

New switches are in and windows work again. The LMR 94-04 switches feel same as OEM the triangle emblems look about the same, if youre picky like me, replace them all so they match.

Door bezels are painted cardinal red, I bought gloss clearcoat but decided against it since gloss wouldnt look right on the interior. I might use a satin clearcoat but for now theyre uncoated.
